- Premium/Certified for Windows Vista lets your customers know that your solution meets a higher standard of quality and exploits the best of what Windows Vista has to offer.
- Basic/Works with Windows Vista lets your customers know that the Works with Windows Vista program supports baseline functionality for existing Windows XP applications with Windows Vista.

The Windows Logo Program is based on specific Windows Vista technical requirements, including new device categories and driver models. A major requirement for system logo certification is the successful completion of system-specific tests in the Windows Logo Kit (WLK).
