Running the OPK requires Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 with Update Rollup 2. To run the OPK, type

"install.bat <LANG> <SILENT>"

where language is the three letter code of the desired language listed below. In addition, an optional silent parameter tells the scripts to execute without user input.

For help running the script, you may run install.bat /?. If the silent parameter is not expressed, the script will ask the user to press any key when the script is complete.

For example, to install the English Media Center Extender software after downloading the OPK and obtaining the files from the ISO image you would run:

Install.bat ENU \silent

Running the OPK installs a fix for Media Center 2005 Update Rollup 2, does a binary copy of the setup executable for the Media Center Extender software to %windir%\eHome folder, and adds a registry key.
