Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1) will provide native support for connecting Windows Media Center-enabled PCs running Windows Vista Home Premium or Ultimate editions to new types of Windows Media Center Extenders. These new devices are available in form factors such as digital televisions and network-enabled DVD players.

Better audio synchronization when playing a Windows Media High Definition Video DVD in Windows Media Center
Detects and configures combo ATSC/NTSC TV tuners to receive both over-the-air digital TV (DTV) and analog cable TV signals
